Sold new to a Mr. Odgen Lamont by Smythe European Mercedes in San Jose, CA on 4/28/81
I purchased the car in 2021 from the Odgen estate, fully prepared it and sold it to a client 6/6/21
This SD was fully serviced and inspected in March 2021 after sitting for 6 years in Mr. Lamont's garage.
We fully inspected the car and took care of the final loose ends in May of 2021.
I'm happy to offer it again to the Mercedes-Benz community.
The car presents itself in essentially as-new condition. Paint and coachwork present virtually as new.
The palomino leather, carpets, door panels, dashboard and wood also present in virtually new condition.
Engine bay and under carriage are spotless original and both reveal all of the factory original cosmoline coatings.
The car behaves on the road also essentially as a new 300SD, silky smooth and quite.
This is a complete package with full handbooks, an original new car brochure, spare key, new key fobs.
The maintenance handbook carries meticulous service entries from new.
