ZF 5 - speed gearboxes were typically fitted to European examples, largely for the Italian and Swiss markets.
This is an Italian market car. They were never officially available in the US.
2 California owners over the last 55 years.
1st CA owner flew to Italy and purchased the car in 1970.
He drove it in the San Francisco Bay area until selling to my client, a professor in Berkeley, CA, in 2004.
I purchased the car on September 16, 2025.
All original sheet metal and floors. Correct body # stamped on hard top, hood, and transmission plate.
All ID plates/stamps in place. Matching # engine. Original trunk floor and rear body light panel.
Tool roll, tire chock, jack, handbooks, extensive service history last 20 years.
Top removal handles and pouch. Factory Service Manual. Factory 5-speed gearbox workshop manual
11 issues of Pagoda World.
Runs and drives beautifully. Excellent oil pressure. Excellent cold and hot start.
Nice clutch and gearbox action. All temperature slice controls recently replaced.
Full service history over the last 21 years including an engine overhaul and valve job 5,000 miles ago in 2017.
Clutch replacement 1,700 miles ago.
Approximately $23k spent by us bringing the car to its current level.
