"This Mercedes looks like a normal SUV, but it is fully armored. Bullet-proof and blast-proof. Certified to BR6 rating.
This vehicle has additional safety features such as run-flat devices in all tires and shocking door handles.
This particular vehicle was transported to Canada for 6 months in order to receive its armoring retrofit.
The Armored Group (TAG) has demonstrated its ability to produce fully protected armored vehicles by sending two complete armored vehicles to Beschussamt Ulm in ULM, GERMANY, one of the top ballistic and blast testing facilities in the world. After 500 plus strategically place shots and 9 different blast events without a single penetration, TAG was awarded VPAM certification for both vehicles. As of 2015, TAG is one of only three companies in the world with both VPAM BRV 2009 VR7 Ballistic Certification and VPAM ERV 2010 Blast Certification."
