Known Flaws:
• Blue dash cover over a cracked original blue dash pad. Blue dash pads are known to crack, and this one was no exception. Cover looks good, but for a points car one would need to repair/replace the original dash pad.
• The paint looks great with the exception of 2 small scrapes on the driver’s side rear quarter where someone must have leaned in with a belt buckle. See pic) and a small scrape where I mishandled the hardtop installation (see pic). A good paint guy could make both invisible.
History:
• History unknown prior to 1990
• CarFax history starts in 1990 when car was in California with 46,836 miles and shows regular CA emissions inspections through 2000 when the car was sold to Florida (second owner?) at 95,738 miles.
• Florida records continue until June 2004 when it was moved by the owner to Ft Lauderdale. In Feb 2003 the car was inspected with 109,360 on the odometer.
• I purchased the car in October 2008 at an IRS Auction, where this car and a number of others in a Collection had been seized for non-payment of Federal Taxes by the owner. The Collection had been stored during litigation for several years I believe.
• When I purchased it in Ft Lauderdale FL (110,108) and drove it to Charleston SC I identified a need for some deferred maintenance with front suspension, shocks and brakes. (See Below)
